Main Ceremony, Fine Arts Terrace-Quad

Seating for graduates on the Quad is designated by college. Signage indicating where graduates sit is in the aisles. Please be in your seats 15 minutes before the ceremony starts.

We will not have a processional. Signage indicating where faculty will sit is in the aisles.

The Registrar’s Office will have a booth set up on the Quad where honors medallions can be picked up before the main ceremony.

The Ball State Bookstore will have a booth set up on the Quad where these items can be purchased before the main ceremony.

Restrooms are in the buildings surrounding the Quad.

Lactation rooms are located in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center. A key is available at the front desk.

On the Quad, concessions are available in front of the North Quad building.

Throughout campus, the following dining areas are open:

North Dining

  • Micro Restaurants: 9:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • North Dining Retail: 9:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Starbucks: 7:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.

Student Center Tally

  • Food Court: 7:30 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Starbucks: 7:30 a.m.–7 p.m.

Worthen Arena

  • Aisles 8 and 17

Lost and found is located in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center at the front desk.

First aid is available in the Quad in front of the Burkhardt Building.

They may have missed the deadline to register for graduation to be listed in the program. It was February 9 for master’s and doctoral students and March 21 for undergraduates.

College Ceremonies, Worthen Arena

All graduates should enter through Lower Level Gate 1. Please be in your seats 15 minutes before the ceremony starts.

We will not have a processional. Faculty are to enter at Lower Level Gate 1 and sit in Section A.

The Ball State Bookstore will have a booth located at Upper Level Gate 1.

At Gates 1 and 3. A gender neutral restroom is available at Gate 2.

Lactation rooms are in the family restrooms at Gate 2, between aisles 4 and 6.

In Worthen Arena, concessions are available in Aisles 8 and 17.

In the Sports Facilities Management office, Worthen Arena, Room 140. If you take the elevator to the lower level, the office will be right across the hall.
