I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 1999, my MSW from Arizona State University in 2001, my secondary education teaching certificate 2014 and an Applied Educational Neuroscience Certificate in 2020 from Butler University. My practice experience has been focused on working with families and children experiencing homelessness, needing educational support, and various mentoring programs. Before joining the faculty at Ball State, I worked as a school social worker and also taught middle school social studies.
