University Libraries Workshop Calendar Thumbnail 2024Copyright and access are critical components of digital scholarship. In this workshop, attendees will learn how copyright and access apply to digital scholarship in an academic setting. We will discuss the copyright of existing digital projects and define your rights as digital scholarship practitioners. We will address concepts including fair use, CC-BY, and others.

Dusty SimmonsDusty Simmons is a strategist by day, a marketer at heart, and a big believer in credit unions. As the Executive Vice President of Strategic Operations at Financial Center First Credit Union in Indianapolis, she leads the growth and experience lines of business for her organization. Her passion lies in helping others grow and develop to move business and innovation forward in the financial services space. Dusty received her degree from Ball State and is currently completing the CEO Institute certification through CUES. She is an alum of the Indiana Credit Union League’s ignite program and advocates for credit unions on Capitol Hill annually. A resident of Greenwood, Dusty spends her free time coaching recreational sports for middle schoolers and traveling with her two teenage daughters.
