Rich Maloney is the baseball head coach at Ball State University. In 2023, he led his team to a Mid-American Conference championship and reached the NCAA Regionals. Maloney began his head coaching career at Ball State from 1996-2001, then led the Michigan Wolverines from 2003-2012. In 2013, he returned to Ball State, where he remains today. He is a four-time Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year and has 954 career wins as a head coach. As a player, Maloney was selected in the 13th round of the 1986 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves and played six seasons in the Braves organization before retiring after reaching Double-A in 1991. He played collegiately at Western Michigan. Maloney has coached 68 players who were drafted 75 times. He's coached six first round picks, all of them at Ball State. Of Maloney's six first round draft picks at Ball State, only one was drafted out of high school. Ball State has had 10 players drafted in the top 4 rounds under Maloney.

Muncie Civic Theater has a large collection of donated hats. Models from the Costume Shop will wear hats representing the history of American women through practical or fashionable head coverings. The style show is narrated by long-time costume volunteer Nancy Carlson.

Apply lessons learned from painting marbles to a glass still life painting and create the illusion of transparent glass. You’ll use layering, overlay, and reflection techniques to give your masterpiece a marble glass sparkle and shine. Open to all skill levels. Limited to 10 students.
