Melvin Cole photoMelvin Cole Jr was born in Muncie, IN, and raised in Anderson. He is a devoted father. Melvin has been working within education for 8 years and is always looking forward to developing himself and to finding the best direction for his life. Before starting his career here at Ball State, Melvin worked at Delta High School for 6 years where he really started to develop his leadership skills. He began working at BSU as a Custodial Group Leader in North Residence Hall in January of 2022. He attended Ball State’s Leadership Academy during that year also. “I hold to the maxim of the Platinum Rule, and that is ‘Do unto others, whenever possible, as that would want to be done to them’, this helps me to put the focus more on the other person."

The light painting in Sursa's lobby entitled First SymphonyCome see Ball State New Music Ensemble perform chamber and solo music of the past thirty years, along with classics of the earlier 20th-century. Program to include recent works, including some by Ball State composition students.

With mounting fear and uncertainty outside, the bawdy Emcee lures you into the world of the Kit Kat Club where your troubles are left at the door.
