Composer Gregory Spears will present on a series of topics related to opera, motive in music, and making opera about current times. These presentations are free and open to the public.
1 p.m.
Led by Dr. Jim Schmutte, a retired Ball State professor of accounting, the “2024 Accounting and Auditing Update” focuses on recent and developing changes to accounting and reporting, emphasizing their impact on private companies and not-for-profit entities. This course qualifies for four credits toward Indiana’s A&A CPE requirement and the GAO Yellow Book CPE requirement.
4 p.m.
Phillip Bernstein, FAIA and deputy dean and professor adjunct at Yale School of Architecture, will attempt to set some context for the current evolution of AI, set against the history of digitization in architecture, and speculate on possible futures and strategies for architecture.
5 p.m.
The Accounting Career Fair and the concurrent reception serve as a networking and recruitment opportunity with Ball State Accounting students, faculty, and peers.
