School of Music
Robert Young joined the faculty of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in the fall of 2016. He previously held teaching positions at SUNY-Potsdam's Crane School of Music, Wichita State University, Albion College, and the Ann Arbor School for the Performing Arts.

This master class will take place in Music Instruction Building (MI) room 152. Dr. Young will also present a recital at 7:30 p.m. in Sursa Performance Hall.
Robert Young is a Conn-Selmer artist, and plays Selmer (Paris) saxophones exclusively. He is also endorsed by D’Addario and plays exclusively on D’Addario saxophone reeds. This event is part of the annual Saxtemberfest series of events hosted by the School of Music.
This event is free and open to the public.
Parking is available in the McKinley Parking Garage (entrance on Ashland Avenue) located immediately south of Sursa Hall. On weekdays, metered parking ($1/hr) is available on the first floor of the garage until 7 p.m. at which time parking is free. This garage is free on weekends.
