About

Taiwanese-Canadian pianist Daniel Lin currently serves as associate professor of music at Indiana Wesleyan University. His performances have been featured in a variety of venues in Canada, USA, Holland, Italy, Spain, and Germany. He was a finalist in several international competitions, including the 2006 Pacific International Competition and 2008 Chinese International Piano Competition. Additional competition highlights include the Bosendorfer Concerto Competition and the Canadian Music Competition, both in 2007, where he won third and first prizes, respectively. He has also collaborated with members of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2015, he was a guest soloist in the Max Reger Festival hosted jointly by the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and the Max Reger Foundation of the Americas. His performance of the Variations and Fugue on a Theme of J.S. Bach, Op. 81 was favorably received in a recent issue of the American Guild of Organists. He had also appeared as a soloist with the Marion Philharmonic Orchestra.

Parking

Parking is available in the McKinley Parking Garage (entrance on Ashland Avenue) located immediately south of Sursa Hall. On weekdays, metered parking ($1/hr) is available on the first floor of the garage until 7 p.m. at which time parking is free. This garage is free on weekends.
