Enjoy a concert of standard jazz favorites and original compositions with the Ball State University Jazz Ensembles in honor of Morgy Craig. The ensembles are under the direction of Mark Buselli, Sean Imboden, and Michael Santos.

After outstanding performances by Jazz 2 and 3, Ball State's Jazz 1 will present the complete suite of jazz interpretations of the 1892 ballet "The Nutcracker" by Peter Tchaikovsky, arranged by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. All of Tchaikovsky's original themes are featuring in nine cleverly arranged movements, all boasting equally smart titles like “Toot Toot Tootie Toot” and “Sugar Rum Cherry." We are also extremely excited to welcome Ball State Clarinet Professor, Elisha Willinger, on clarinet for this performance.
