Dr. John Emert, dean of the Ball State University Honors College, would like to personally invite you to join fellow Honors College alumni and students for the virtual 2021 Emens Professor Lecture on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 7:30 p.m.
From Surviving to Thriving: Creating Equitable Environments through Emotional Intelligence and Culturally Relevant Practices
Dr. Dena Simmons, Director of Education at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and Associate Research Scientist at the Yale University School of Medicine
In her lecture, Dr. Simmons will explore how emotional intelligence can be employed to create anti-racist environments and foster culturally relevant practices. The virtual lecture will be 60 minutes followed by 10 minutes of Q&A.
