Supporting Career Growth Conversations: Career growth conversations are something that ever supervisor and leader should be having with their employees, outside of the annual evaluation. It is a data driven method that is directly correlated with job satisfaction and employee retention that is surrounded by those individual’s strengths. These discussions of growth create a psychologically safe environment for the employee and let them know that their leaders support their growth and professional development.

In this session, you will learn about why these conversations work and the studies and data that support them. In addition, you will find how these conversations are structured through a simple and proven model. Finally, you will practice a strengths-based conversation with your colleagues.
