Ball State’s Integrated Cultural Committee will kick-off the holiday season on Saturday, December 2nd with events, holiday productions, demos, a Luminaria Walk, and more. A Ball State shuttle will travel between campus and Minnetrista throughout the night, with stops near the Glick Glass Center and the Minnetrista Orchard Shop lot (on St. Joseph Street).
Please note that each venue may have different hours throughout the evening. Holiday Arts & Culture Night campus events and activities include:
Charles W. Brown Planetarium: "The Christmas Star” at 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass (of the School of Art): Glass-making demonstrations in the hot shop and a Glass Alliance sale of ornaments and glass objects from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Rinard Orchid Greenhouse & the Environmental Education Center: Holiday in Bloom from 5:00-9:00 p.m. will include guided flashlight tours, activities, and music.
David Owsley Museum of Art: Holiday Open House from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with treats, music, and art activities for all ages.
John R. Emens Auditorium: Orchestra Indiana Christmas Celebration at 6:00 p.m.
The holiday fun does not stop there: seasonal activities of choral concerts, continued planetarium shows, athletic events, and special exhibitions continue through December 21. Enjoy the holiday season with Ball State’s Cultural Corridor!
