Canvas Design Jam will include activities and support to help you create innovative content in Canvas, Ball State’s learning management system. You can create anything you want during the Canvas Design Jam, from an assignment prompt to a syllabus scavenger hunt.
Canvas designs will be judged by a faculty panel from around the University. Creators of the top 3 designs will be awarded the Canvas Innovator Award and a $200 RIA contribution. These designs will also be made into Canvas templates for the entire university community to adapt. Everyone is welcome to attend in costume or without a costume, whatever you prefer!
Canvas Design Jam will be held in a hybrid format.
What to bring to Canvas Design Jam:
- Yourself (this is the only requirement!)
- One or more friends (always appreciated!)
- A laptop with an internet connection
- A blank Canvas course (request a development course at bsu.edu/canvas)
- Any of your previous Canvas designs for inspiration or a starting point
