Supporting Career Growth Conversations: Career growth conversations are something that ever supervisor and leader should be having with their employees, outside of the annual evaluation. In this session, you will learn about why these conversations work and the studies and data that support them. In addition, you will find how these conversations are structured through a simple and proven model, and will practice a strengths-based conversation with your colleagues.

Marcy Minton is President and CEO of The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County. She has served in the role since August 2022 after more than six years as Senior Program Officer and nearly two years as Community Engagement Director, culminating in nearly a decade with the Foundation in three different roles. Prior to working for the Foundation, she served as Assistant Director for Resource Development for Ivy Tech Foundation East Central Region. Marcy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Computer Information Systems from Indiana University and master’s degrees in Adult and Community Education and Executive Development for Public Service from Ball State University.
