Peer Facilitated Programs & Workshops

MOSAIC is a peer education program whose mission is to engage undergraduate students in open dialogues focused on cultural and intellectual diversity.

It is our goal to:

  • Engage students in reflective, interactive, and informative activities
  • Challenge students to think critically about their experiences and social issues within the world
  • Help students work towards enhancing their multicultural identities and appreciating cultural differences
  • Lead students in discovering ways to embrace diversity in people, ideas, and opinions

Peer Advocate Leaders (PALs) are student staff members committed to supporting undergraduate students at Ball State University in discovering ways to embrace cultural and intellectual diversity

PALs are available to facilitate workshops for student organizations and undergraduate courses on campus, as well as consult with student leaders about organizational issues.

 The Process:

  • Use the link down below to request a workshop. You can look at the list of workshops we have done previously to give you an idea of what you might need.
  • A staff member will reach out to you with confirmation of your request and connect you with our Peer Advocate Leaders.
  • The Peer Advocate Leader will then be your main point of contact for all things related to your workshop. They will schedule a consultation meeting with you to help create a workshop that suits you most and cater to your needs.
  • Before the meeting, we suggest coming in with multiple dates and times you are wanting to have the workshop, as well as a few learning outcomes ready.
  • Your Peer Advocate Leader will draft a workshop for you and send to you for your approval within 3 days.
  • Once we have your approval, the workshop is ready to be presented!
