"At Ball State, I found that the greatest way that I am able to do that is through fostering community amongst my peers, as community is at the heart of all real mobilization and change. Throughout my academic career, I've gravitated toward opportunities (like the DCAC) that allow me to make significant impact by collaborating and discussing ways in which we can improve academic and campus experiences for students by emphasizing equity and inclusion."

During his time at Ball State, he has studied systems of oppression and, upon graduation, he is eager to continue challenging them as a graduate student in an education policy and leadership program.
