Katherine A. Arbuckle
Katherine A. Arbuckle joined the Ball State University Foundation Board of Directors in 2016.
She graduated cum laude from Ball State as an accounting major and the College of Business Undergraduate Fellow in 1980. She began her career as a CPA at Ernst & Young, Indianapolis, eventually specializing in health care.
Her health care finance career continued in Indianapolis at Bradley & Associates, Clarian Health (now IU Health), and St. Vincent Health, a subsidiary of Ascension Health. Leaving Indianapolis in 2002, she continued her career in St. Louis at Ascension Health and in Marriottsville, Maryland at Bon Secours Health System as its executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). She returned to Ascension Health in 2012 as its senior vice president and CFO and retired from that position in 2014.
Arbuckle currently serves on the board of several multi-state health care systems. She is a member of the Ball State Miller College of Business Executive Advisory Board and received the Miller College of Business Award of Achievement in 2007. She has served on multiple community service and professional society boards. As a volunteer, she manages a tax clinic for low income seniors in St. Louis, Missouri, where she lives with her husband, Dan Cooper.
