Marla K. Templeton
Marla K. Templeton joined the Ball State University Foundation Board of Directors in 2014.
She earned her master’s degree in accounting in 1981 from Ball State. She began her accounting career in 1981 with R.J. Whitinger & Company in Muncie. In 2012 she retired as a member/owner of the firm, now Whitinger & Company LLC, continuing to do consulting work on a part-time basis.
Templeton currently serves the Muncie community on the boards as treasurer of the Sherman and Marjorie Zeigler Foundation and Community Enhancement Projects, Inc. She has also served the Muncie community on the boards of the Muncie Symphony Orchestra, Teamwork for Quality Living, and Altrusa Club of Muncie.
Currently she serves on the board as vice president of Cardinal Funds, Inc. and also on the board of the Ball State University Discovery Group.
Templeton resides in Muncie with her husband, Keith Greenwalt.
