Corteva Agriscience, born from the merger and subsequent split of Dow Chemical and DuPont, stands as a dedicated agricultural company focused on both seeds and crop protection. Our mission is to develop products that ensure progress for generations to come, aligning with our sustainability goals.

In this seminar, I will present our innovative approach using New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) in the discovery and development of sustainable crop protection products. I will provide a general overview of how NAMs are employed to design, screen, and de-risk new molecules. Additionally, I will discuss the critical role of metabolism in this process and demonstrate the application of mass spectrometry for metabolism identification (MetID) and characterization of crop protection products. This comprehensive approach not only enhances the efficacy and safety of our products but also supports our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
