Gabriela Veronelli Bio: Dr. Gabriela Veronelli specializes in Latin American philosophy and decolonial theory. In her research, Veronelli explores the relationship between language and power in long-term colonial situations from a decolonial approach that focuses on the radically different perspective of language and the understanding and meaning-making the colonized traditions. Her ideas on the coloniality of language and decolonial communication have been published in Universitas Humanistica, Polyphony, Hypatia, and other journals and edited volumes.
