Join us as Tom Schwartz discusses one of the most significant symbols of the Cold War era. From its inception to its dramatic fall, the Berlin Wall divided families, separated friends, and symbolized the ideological divide of an entire world.

Tom’s unique perspective as an exchange student in Germany during this pivotal time provides unparalleled insight into the human stories behind this imposing barrier. His academic background in German language and literature provides an expanded understanding of the cultural and political context surrounding the Berlin Wall.

Presenter: Tom Schwartz, retired high school German teacher
