Description: Learn how you can start incorporating the Mediterranean lifestyle into your daily life. This approach to health is more than just a diet—it’s a way of living that emphasizes wholesome foods, regular movement, and strong social connections. Together, we’ll discuss practical ways to adopt Mediterranean-inspired eating habits, integrate enjoyable physical activity, and embrace the power of community to support overall well-being.
Bio: Amanda is originally from Leo, Indiana, but relocated to Muncie 12 years ago to attend Ball State University where she met her husband. After graduating with a degree in Family Consumer Science Education Amanda accepted a teaching position locally and taught for 7 years in the public education setting. In 2020, she took a leap and joined the Purdue Extension team as the Health and Human Science Educator. She served in Jay County for two years before coming to Delaware County in 2023. Amanda is currently working on her Master’s degree in Public Health through the Purdue Global University with a focus on nutrition and food.
