Lunch & Learn: Thinking About Attendance - What Works to Get Students to Class?

Success starts with showing up and attendance has been shown to be a strong predictor of semester grades. Join your colleagues and campus experts to learn how they approach attendance and discuss what motivates students to come to class.

The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs is happy to host a year-long Lunch & Learn series to highlight pedagogical experts on campus and discuss student success and faculty well-being techniques.

This session will take place the second to last Wednesday of the month from 12:00-1:00pm in the Student Center, SC 310. While drop-ins are welcome—and even encouraged—feel free to RSVP to the sessions to receive a calendar invitation.
