Three faculty members of Ball State University’s Miller College of Business were selected as inaugural inductees of the Father Kenneth M. Molinaro, CSC Faculty Fellowship Program in a recent ceremony held in the Molinaro Hall of Fame Room of the Whitinger Business Building.

The NBA has started using the Elam Ending, created by Ball State professor Dr. Nick Elam, for all overtime contests in its G League, the association’s official minor league basketball organization. The G League will also utilize the Elam Ending for the fourth quarter of its annual NBA G League Winter Showcase in Las Vegas in December.

Dr. Phil Hoffman, assistant dean of Media and general manager for Ball State Public Media at Ball State University, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the board of Vision Maker Media. The nonprofit organization is a premier source for quality American Indian and Alaska Native educational videos.

Ball State University’s student media recently earned numerous journalism and communications accolades and awards, including more than three dozen awards combined for Ball Bearings magazine, The Ball State Daily News, and the McKinley Avenue Agency—an on-campus student-run communications, media, and advertising agency.

Ball State University’s Teachers College has been awarded a multi-million dollar 2022-2024 Attract, Prepare, Retain (APR) Grant—a federally funded program aimed at recruiting and retaining top teaching talent in Indiana schools.

On Wednesday, Ball State University launched for use by its entire campus community Starship Technologies delivery robots. A fleet of 24 robots will deploy at Ball State—providing food, snacks, and drink delivery from a variety of dining locations on campus.
