Requirements
In order to participate, please ensure the following:

  • Complete and submit the online application with all necessary materials by Friday, September 20 at 5:00 p.m.
  • Be a child of a Ball State alumnus (parent or grandparent)
  • Be in one of the following categories:
    •  Age 0-4 and not in grade school at the time of Homecoming for Lady and Lad
    • In grades K-5 at the time of Homecoming for Prince and Princess
  • Be available to attend the Homecoming Parade (9:00 a.m.) and the football game to follow on October 26

Selection

  • One child will be chosen for each category: Prince, Princess, Lady, and Lad for 2024.
  • Winners will be chosen by the Homecoming Steering Committee and staff members of the Ball State Foundation.

Prizes

  • Tickets for the winners and their immediate family for the Homecoming football game
  • A personal car ride in the Homecoming Parade
  • Ball State gear to keep the Cardinal spirit alive even after Homecoming
  • Recognition at halftime
