Jennifer Criss
Content Strategist and Writer
Jennifer Criss, ’98, MA ’23, is a content strategist and writer on the University Communications and Digital Marketing team. She manages the Communications Center and regularly contributes to the Ball State blog, News Center, and the Ball State magazine.
Jennifer started her journey at Ball State as a first grader at Burris Laboratory School and later graduated from the University. After spending several years at the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Libraries, she returned “home” to Ball State in 2005. She held positions at Bracken Library and in the School of Nursing before joining Marketing and Communications in 2016.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys attending concerts with her husband, Nate, and writing short fiction and poetry. She has been published in several poetry anthologies. She published her own book of poetry in 2019.
