Students can use the Ball State airport shuttle for convenient and affordable transportation to and from the Indianapolis airport at the beginning of each semester and during holiday and semester breaks.

Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance by completing the online Airport Shuttle Reservation form. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your reservation is received.

Airport shuttle service is $55 per person, one way (non-refundable), due at the time your reservation is made.

Campus Pickup

You should schedule your pickup accordingly. There is a 2-hour travel time to the Indianapolis Airport from the Ball State Campus. There is an additional 10-to-15-minute walk to TSA Security point from the drop off location at Ground Transportation Zone 1.  Please remember that we can’t control delays due to construction or traffic problems.

  • G1 Parking Lot (West of Johnson West and Northwest Halls along the side walk)
  • H-4 Parking Lot (East of Park Hall and Dehority Hall at the roundabout)
  • Tally St. (Across from Elliott Hall by the Blue Loop bus stop)

Airport Pickup and Drop Off

At the Indianapolis International Airport, the pickup/drop off location is at Ground Transportation Center (Zone 1).

Campus Drop Off

If you are returning from the airport to campus, you can be dropped off at any main campus location.
