Why should you consider this grant?

Pursuing this grant can provide you with the following:

  • Gain hands-on experience with a one-semester research or creative project
  • Work with a faculty mentor of your choice
  • Strengthen your skills for the job market or graduate school
  • Receive $1,000

Apply for the Pepsi Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavor Grant 

To apply for the grant:

  1. Read the instructions and eligibility.
  2. Find a faculty member you would like to work with on a project (any faculty is eligible).
  3. Email the faculty member to ask if they are willing to mentor you for the Pepsi Grant.
  4. Meet with your new mentor to develop a project.
  5. Apply for the grant.

The student will complete the first part of the application. Then the mentor will review what the student wrote and complete the second part of the application.

As part of the application, the student will need to submit a screenshot of their credits and GPA from DegreeWorks (go to MyBallState > Self Service > Students > DegreeWorks > take a screenshot of total earned credits and cumulative GPA).

Deadlines

Complete applications must be received by the following dates (these dates recur yearly):

  • For projects starting in Fall: July 15
  • For projects starting in Spring: Nov. 20
  • For projects starting in Summer: March 31
