Along with the Minor in Sustainability, the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental management, and the 2018 Living Lightly Fair, CERES has co-sponsored the following event:

Public Health and Climate Policy at EPA and Beyond
A presentation by Janet McCabe, Professor of Practice, Indiana University

Thursday, April 19, 2018
3:30-4:30 pm
Applied Technology, Room 183

Almost every day in the news we are hearing about new policies from the Environmental Protection Agency to repeal or delay public health and climate programs put in place during the Obama Administration. What is happening at the EPA? Who is concerned and why, and what are they doing? Janet McCabe, former Acting Assistant Administrator of the Office of Air and Radiation, will talk about the major policy shifts under way, the impacts those may have on public health and the environment in the near and longer term, how people are responding, and how you can get involved.
