Counseling Practicum - Telehealth Services

Due to COVID-19, we took measures to limit the exposure and spread of the virus to our community. While our physical office remains closed, we are now providing telehealth services to our community members. Telehealth is a way to deliver health services, including counseling, to individuals using technology, such as a video call, in place of in person sessions.

To make a referral to the clinic, have the client call 765-285-8047 for a brief telephone interview. Please note, as a training clinic, we are unable to provide all types of services. Some clients will be better served by being referred to agencies that can provide the type of help needed. Therefore, on some occasions, clients are referred to other community agencies.

Cost

There is a $25 an hour fee to the client for our counseling services. No client will be denied services because of the inability to pay. Initial appointments may be made by calling 765-285-8047 and completing a brief telephone interview.

Regular appointments are arranged between the client and the assigned counselor. At the end of each university term, counselor assignments may change. The counselor will make arrangements with the client to complete the counseling or to transfer the client to another counselor. Sessions will be approximately 50 minutes, depending on the needs of the client.
