Using the knowledge and technical expertise available in several of Ball State University's nationally recognized colleges, the Center for School Innovation provides schools, communities, and administrators with a "one-stop shop" for the resources and expertise needed to develop innovative, entrepreneurial approaches to K–12 education.

The center provides training and consultation services on topics such as administrative organization, marketing, and facilities design and development by accessing the education-related resources in:

Communities and school sponsors can contact the center for assistance in areas ranging from selecting appropriate facilities to hiring school leaders to developing creative curriculum. The center will connect you with experts who can consult and assist you in meeting your goals.

In addition, the center offers training programs, such as the Institute for Entrepreneurial School Leadership, and plans to develop master's degree and certificate programs in entrepreneurial education leadership.
