Students from John McKillip's seminar, State of Assault, were selected to present their research on the problems associated with sexual assault at Posters on the Hill, a national exhibition of undergraduate research sponsored by the Council on Undergraduate Research in Washington DC. McKillip's students were among 60 researchers selected from a national pool of nearly 500 applicants—and one of only two selected from the state of Indiana.
In addition to exhibiting their research at an exhibition and reception in the Rayburn Building, the students discussed their research with members of Indiana's congressional delegation: Congressmen Mike Pence and Peter Visclosky and Senator Richard Lugar.
