Richard Fluegeman
Professor of Geological Sciences
Professor of Geological Sciences
Education:
Ph.D. University of Cincinnati 1987
M.S. Miami University 1979
B.S. University of Cincinnati 1977
Current Research:
My research deals primarily with the biostratigraphy and paleoecology of Paleogene foraminifera and their relationship to sequence stratigraphy. Most of my work to date has been conducted in the Gulf Coastal Plain, the Caribbean and the South Pacific. A secondary line of research is focused on the potential petroleum systems of frontier basins with an emphasis on southeast Asia.
