Symphonic Instruments – Strings

Designed specifically for string and harp players, the Strings concentration helps you build performance skills and pedagogical knowledge. You’ll receive individualized instruction, study string literature and pedagogy, and perform in orchestras and chamber ensembles.

The program prepares graduates for teaching, professional performance, or further study at the graduate level.

Symphonic Instruments – Winds, Brass, and Percussion

This concentration supports the development of performance and teaching skills for woodwind, brass, and percussion students. You’ll receive private instruction, study relevant literature and pedagogy, and perform in nationally recognized ensembles.

The curriculum is specifically designed to meet the needs of wind, brass, and percussion musicians. Graduates are ready to perform, teach, or pursue graduate education.
