Step inside the colorful world of Tad Carpenter—designer, illustrator, and co-founder of the brand design studio Carpenter Collective. In this honest walk through the studio’s creative process, Tad shares how wandering the hallways of Hallmark Cards as a child sparked a lifelong love affair with playful, purposeful design. Glass artist Kit Paulson will elucidate her 25 years in glassmaking. In Paulson’s body of work, delicate detail and historical precepts converge to create objects that strike a fragile balance between the known and the unknown object. Predominantly working in borosilicate glass, Paulson’s intricate networked forms showcase a complex craft. This event is free and open to the public. From 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. in AR 217.
