Visit Christy Woods and the Nature Lab on July 11th for a Forest Frenzy! Activity stations will be available throughout the Nature Lab, focusing on leaves, bark, fruits/nuts, and tree identification. Crafts will be included. This program is designed with younger learners in mind, but all ages are welcome to join in. Depending on participant interest and group size, we may also lead a short tree identification walk in Christy Woods.

Visit the BSU Nature Lab at 11am for Tracks, Trails, & Tales, our weekly summer story time. Gather around the campfire rug to hear a different nature-themed story each week. Story time will be followed by a craft, activity, and/or a guided nature walk. All ages are welcome, but stories and activities will skew towards our younger audience members.

Join us at the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse and Nature Lab for a Pokémon-themed scavenger hunt, activities, and to learn about Pokémon and their real-life inspirations. Open to all ages, plus a free houseplant giveaway while supplies last.

What's the buzz? Could it be bees, bats, butterflies, or even birds? Find out at the Pollinator Party at the BSU Nature Lab, Rinard Orchid Greenhouse, and Christy Woods from 10-3pm! Families and visitors can learn all about pollination from experts in our community, see examples of pollinators, and complete crafts and activities to learn more about our pollen-loving friends.
