The Happy Trigger created by Nihan Yesil, written by guest artist Diego Sosa
In the aftermath of the prolonged quarantine, our protagonist, Alex, is informed by her employer that they are resuming office operations after the weekend. Initially receiving this news with composure, Alex's inner musings reveal the tumultuous emotional landscape she navigates. Waves of anxiety engulf her, prompting her to find solace in the comforting embrace of a Tigger plush toy, a tender gesture she repeats until serenity is restored. Supported by an elaborate sound design throughout as an integral part of the narrative, the play explores possibilities in sound design, blending music and noise, humor and horror, meditation and sensory overload.
