Radiance Cinema at Pruis Hall: Celebrating Student Filmmakers
On October 12 at 7:00 p.m., join us at Pruis Hall for the second iteration of the Radiance Cinema Showcase, a celebration of student filmmaking and acting talent at Ball State University. These films, crafted during the 2023-2024 school year, reflect the passion and creativity of our students, who first premiered their work at the Indy Shorts International Film Festival this summer.
Partnering with Heartland Film, Radiance Cinema brought together students from the College of Fine Arts and the College of Communication, Information, and Media, who immersed themselves in every aspect of filmmaking—from writing and directing to acting and editing. The showcase reflects the culmination of their hard work and collaboration, and now, for the first time at Ball State, they will share these films with the local community.
Come experience eight captivating films that embody the innovative spirit of Ball State. After the screening, join us for a reception to meet the filmmakers, celebrate their accomplishments, and learn about their creative process. Admission is free!
