Mission Statement: The Ball State Man 2 Men Program aims to boost the recruitment and retention of men of color by empowering participants with academic, leadership, and professional opportunities. The program strives for success in academic post-graduate life.

Program Information

Man 2 Men holds developmental, social, and cultural events every Monday from 7-9pm in the Multicultural Center Multipurpose room. All events, programs, and membership are open and free to all currently enrolled students.

Learning Goals and Outcomes

  • Participants will be able to identify and appropriately use campus resources that will aid in their personal/professional development and academic success.
  • Participants will gain the skills necessary to create and maintain professional relationships with faculty, staff, and their peers at Ball State University.
  • Participants will be able to engage and explore their identities.
  • Participants will be able to foster inclusive communities and a sense of belonging.

  • Events are open and free to all currently enrolled Ball State students. Membership of the program grants greater benefits based on attendance and GPA.
  • Man 2 Men Membership is also open to all currently enrolled Ball State students given they complete the membership application form.
  • Active membership requires completion of the Man 2 Men participation form, 75% attendance in all Man 2 Men events, and 1 attendance of a Man 2 Men Banquet Event which happens at the beginning and end of each semester.
  • Ball State students are welcome to attend Man 2 Men events without membership.
  • Register for the program here. Students may also fill out an application at the front desk of the Multicultural Center.
  • Upon registering for the program, students will be eligible to receive a $250 book voucher given they have not maxed out their financial aid package and have attended at least one Man 2 Men event.
  • Five $1,000 scholarships will be given to students within the program (2.5 GPA and application).
  • Members of the program will receive official Man 2 Men merchandise based on their program attendance.

Unless indicated otherwise, all events will be held at the Multicultural Center MPR at 7 pm.
