The Ball State employee QuickClinic is hosting an open house 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 15 in the lower level of the Amelia T. Wood Health Center. Flu shots may be available for free, depending on the patient's health plan.
The QuickClinic provides medical care for common illnesses and minor injuries from 7 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. on weekdays to Ball State employees, spouses and their dependents older than age 2. The clinic is staffed by certified family nurse practitioners who can diagnose and treat most common illnesses and prescribe medication.
"I believe the employees will appreciate the clinic's convenient location, quality and affordable care," said Patty Hollingsworth, director of employee health enhancement programs. "But most importantly, the staff is wonderful. They are all patient centered clinicians."
No coinsurance or deductible will be charged to employees who have the Ball State low or high deductible wellness option PPO as their primary health plan. All employees, spouses, dependents or retirees not covered under these plans are welcome but must pay in full at time of service.
No appointment is necessary. For more information, contact the clinic at 765-285-1106 or log on to www.bsu.edu/workingwell.
