Ball State's
Center for Organizational Resources (COR) has earned honors from the University Continuing Education Association.
The association recently presented the Mid-American Region Creative Noncredit Program Award to the university's center for its Certified Training Consultant Institute, which created a training program for the Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center.
The 18-hour program allowed participants to demonstrate their skills as a consultant/trainer through a written assessment and completion of a project related to the mission statement of the neighborhood center.
The Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center is a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to organizations that set priorities and effectively address issues affecting lives in their neighborhoods.
The University Continuing Education Association award program recognizes institutional excellence, individual achievement and contributions to the association and to the field of continuing higher education.
COR works in partnership with organizations to design training programs which address their unique employee and organizational development needs.
