Gifts totaling $200,000 from the Edmund F. and Virginia B. Ball Foundation will benefit incoming freshmen and transfer students at Ball State University.
The Telecommunications Merit Endowment Scholarship was established to provide scholarships to students majoring in telecommunications. Preferred recipients are incoming freshmen who have a minimum academic index of 3.0 and an SAT score of 1,500 on the new scoring system. In addition, transfer students with a minimum 3.0 grade point average are eligible.
The scholarship is renewable for three years if the student maintains a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
Availability of this scholarship fund is dependent upon an award selection process established by Ball State and its academic departments. For specifics about this scholarship, contact the telecommunications department at (765) 285-1480.
