Ball State's Center for Organizational Resources (COR) is offering a conversational Spanish course, "Community Spanish: A Survival Guide for English Speakers," this fall.

The program will be at both 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 10, 17, 24 and Oct. 1 at the Ball State Indianapolis Center, 50 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis. Sessions also will be at the same times on Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at the Outreach Services Site, 10204 Lantern Road, Fishers.

The course prepares English-speaking people to converse in basic Spanish. It is open enrollment and costs $195, which includes practice CDs and a course manual.

COR also offers customized occupational Spanish language training for the military, law enforcement, correctional, probation, education, medical, governmental and business agencies and institutions.
