Humanity has yet to develop warp drive, but you can still take a trip through outer space in the Ball State University Planetarium. The program will feature the Grand Canyon of Mars, the rings of Saturn and Pluto.

The planetarium will offer its 40-minute program, "The Planets: A Voyage Across Our Solar System," at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22-23, Feb. 29-March 1 and March 21-22. Programs are free and do not require tickets. Children age 12 and younger should have adult supervision. The planetarium is in the Cooper Science Complex, room CP 90.

If weather permits, the observatory will be opened after the program. Please note that the observatory, also in Cooper, lacks heating.

For more information, contact Ron Kaitchuck, professor of physics and astronomy, at 765-285-8871 or visit www.bsu.edu/planetarium.
