An anonymous alumnus donor has established a fund in honor of William Bock, professor of health science, and the role Bock played in the donor's life. As an undergraduate student, the donor was encouraged by Bock to pursue a graduate degree in health education. The anonymous donor since has earned a master's and doctoral degree in the field.

The Dr. William Bock Scholarship is for students pursuing a major in health science who have a record of academic excellence, including incoming freshmen. For currently enrolled students, preference will be given to members of Eta Sigma Gamma. Awards may be renewed at the discretion of the selection committee.

Availability of the Dr. William Bock Scholarship is dependent upon an awards selection process established by Ball State and its academic departments. For specifics about this scholarship, contact the physiology and health science department at 765-285-5961.
