A Christmas Carol
~~~A Christmas Carol~~~ at Ball State University Theatre
Kick off the holidays with Ball State University's portrayal of the Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol," which opens on the University Theatre stage Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m. The play also will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1, 5-8 and 13-15 with a matinee scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 9.


The Indiana premiere of a song-filled adaptation of the classic brings to life Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future.


The sparkling tale of love and redemption was written by Charles Dickens but was adapted by Joseph Hanreddy and Edward Morgan. Michael Daehn, associate professor of theater education and directing, will direct with music under the direction by Alex Kocoshis, instructor of music performance, and choreography by Vladimir Stadnik, associate professor of dance.


Tickets for the performance cost $16 for the general public, $14 for faculty and staff, $12 for senior citizens and $11 for students.
