Ron and his students combined their interdisciplinary skills to write a publishing proposal and develop multiple chapters of a digital Indiana history e-textbook for elementary school students.

This interactive multimedia learning experience - which was also translated into Spanish - utilizes tablet technology, photos, and videos to illustrate and present Indiana history. The students worked with multiple teachers from several school districts across the state and the members of the Indiana Bicentennial Commission throughout each stage of production to user test the content and functionality of the e-textbook.

The seminar also worked with Indiana Landmarks, Eiteljorg Museum, Indiana State Museum, Indiana State Library, Indiana Historical Society, Conner Prairie, and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
