At Ball State, 80 percent of our students are eligible for financial aid. The Department of Anthropology offers several scholarships to help you pursue your bachelor’s degree.

Troyer Scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding undergraduate anthropology majors entering their senior year.

Criteria

  • Complete a minimum of 21 credits in anthropology and 90 credits of overall coursework by the end of the semester you apply.
  • Maintain a minimum overall grade point average of 3.0

How to Apply

Applications for these scholarships are accepted during the spring semester of your junior year and are due by the first Friday in March.

Several Troyer Grants are available annually to qualifying anthropology students for professional development. These grants are intended to help defer expenses for research and presentations at conferences.
