Adam Berland
Associate Professor of Geography
Adam Berland arrived at Ball State in 2015 as an assistant professor. He teaches courses in geographic information systems (GIS) and urban geography. Adam’s research interests include urban forestry, GIS analysis and modeling, and the dynamics of human-environment systems. He earned degrees from the University of St. Thomas (BA) and the University of Minnesota (MA, PhD). Prior to arrival at Ball State, he completed a postdoctoral research associateship at the US Environmental Protection Agency.
