The Interprofessional Education and Practice Faculty Development Advisory Group (IPEPFDAG) create new faculty development opportunities through teaching and scholarship for faculty, clinicians, and preceptors who are engaged in Interprofessional Education and Practice. The group supports the development of faculty to teach in innovative, interprofessional learning environments to produce graduates who understand the importance of health professions teamwork, collaboration, and patient-centered care. The IPEPFDAG meets 2–3 times per Fall and Spring semesters.
IPEPFDAG members Support the development and guidance for strategies to enhance teaching and scholarship in the College of Health (CoH). They champion new initiatives, mentor new faculty, and recognize and promote effective IPEP teaching initiatives.
Members are from each CoH department or school and are recommended by department chairs. Each member may be renewed to serve on the board again after two years.
